Apply in a well ventilated area. Wear gloves and wash hands after use.
Preparation
Park automobile in shaded area and let windshield cool to ambient temperature. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from old adhesive. Wipe clean with cloth saturated with rubbing alcohol. Remove metal mounting tab from mirror bracket. Make note of the correct orientation of the mounting tab. Mark the outside of the windshield with a removable marker to identify old location of mounting tab. Thoroughly scrape inside of windshield and metal tab with a razor or utility knife blade to remove all old adhesive. Wipe clean with alcohol and let dry for 5 minutes.
Application
Remove paper sleeve from the activator. Squeeze the clear activator ampule until the vial inside breaks, releasing the activator to soak the felt application tip. Apply a generous amount of activator to both the metal mounting tab and the windshield area to be glued. Allow activator to dry 5 minutes. Do not touch the activated surfaces. Break off cap of adhesive applicator and apply a drop of adhesive to the center of the metal tab. Immediately attach the metal tab to the windshield, making sure it is positioned properly and hold for 1 minute. Allow to set for 1 hour before re-attaching the mirror.
Cleanup
Cured adhesive may be cut away with caution using a sharp blade.
