When you first see a smudge of epoxy on a glass object, your first inclination might be to get a razor or putty knife and start scraping. Hold on though, epoxy is a pretty tough substance and you might scratch the glass. Read on to find ways to soften it up and make removing epoxy from glass much safer and easier.
There are several ways to soften epoxy so that it comes off glass more easily. Here are some things you will need:

Heat Method:
Gently heat the area for 1 minute to soften, then attempt to scrape off the glue with a razor blade or putty knife. After you remove the bulk of the epoxy, continue to get the rest of it off with one of the methods above.
Use a new sharp razor. Duller razors may have tiny jagged edges that can scratch. Secondly, lay the razor very flat to the surface and try to get under the glue. Don’t press toward the glass with a lot of pressure.
