Leaky pipes are an annoying development that can quickly cause substantial water damage to your home. No matter how minor the leak appears to be, it’s important to get it repaired or replaced fast.

To fix a sink pipe leak, you need the know-how, but you also need the right products and tools. Here are the top two products on the market for patching a pipe leak.

Here’s how to seal a water pipe leak with Loctite Go2 Repair Wrap.

  1. Clean and dry the pipe surface.
  2. Peel the liner away from the tape about 2-3 inches.
  3. Press the tape firmly onto the pipe.
  4. Hold the tape in place, tightly stretch and wrap the tape around the pipe several times, allowing 2/3 overlap for the best seal.
  5. Cut the tape from the roll and press the end into the taped layers.

If you decide to replace the pipe and need to remove the tape, simply cut the tape away using a utility knife.
