- Load the caulk gun and test your bead size on a disposable surface.
- Starting in a corner, apply the caulk at a 45-degree angle in one steady stream down the length of the joint.
- Smooth the bead with a wet finger, damp cloth, or tool.
- Remove the masking tape. And make sure that the sealant edges are still smooth. Otherwise
- Clean up tools and excess caulk immediately with warm soapy water and a cloth. Cured caulk can be carefully scraped away with a putty knife, taking care not to scratch the surface.
